About the Role

We're seeking a talented Python API Developer to join our innovative team at CELUS. As a key member of our engineering community, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of electronics design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality APIs using Python and FastAPI, collaborating with our UI team to bring creative visions to life on our Design Studio platform.
  • Write efficient, readable, and maintainable Python code, leveraging your expertise in web development and embracing challenging tasks.
  • Utilize linters and code quality tools to ensure high standards of code organization and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • More than 3 years of Python experience, including familiarity with Python web frameworks, particularly FastAPI and pydantic.
  • Experience in asynchronous Python and competence in using pytest and linters to ensure code quality.
  • Knowledge of ORM on Python and databases, with a preference for MongoDB.
  • Ability to write highly legible code, using design patterns and best practices.
  • Good understanding of web application backend development and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Agile mindset and solution-driven thinking.
