Position Title: Manager for Technical Infrastructure and Energy Optimization

DR. HEIMEIER EXECUTIVE SEARCH GmbH is in search of a proficient leader to oversee the Technical Infrastructure and Energy Optimization division. This department is composed of a dedicated team of professionals focused on various engineering disciplines, including electrical systems, supply chain management, and energy efficiency, tasked with the stewardship of municipal properties across multiple technical domains such as heating, plumbing, air conditioning, electrical systems, and network infrastructure, alongside building automation, environmental engineering, and energy management including procurement strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the department while collaborating with team leaders from electrical systems, supply chain management, and energy efficiency sectors.
  • Establish technical and organizational benchmarks to influence the advancement of public infrastructure.
  • Serve as a primary liaison for both internal and external inquiries within the sector.
  • Oversee the financial planning and budget allocation for the entire division.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from the construction management team.

Qualifications:

  • Academic background in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Optimization.
  • In-depth engineering expertise in relevant fields, ideally within Facility Management.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to foster organizational structures and encourage autonomous decision-making and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
