Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Planner to join our team. As a Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistical solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and implement customer requirements to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Design and implement logistical solutions in existing logistics centers and for new locations to optimize supply chain performance
  • Develop and plan automated and manual material flow solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Create and calculate processes as the basis for process costs and pricing to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Responsible for costing, warehouse planning, layout creation, and cost and price determination to ensure optimal logistics operations
  • Conduct and evaluate process analyzes and changes while considering Lean concepts to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement planned changes considering structural aspects to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Lead sub-projects or overall projects for (international) logistics projects to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Support the commissioning of new logistics processes to ensure seamless integration
  • Assist in contract negotiations with new customers and solution providers to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Successfully completed technical or business studies in a relevant field
  • Professional experience as a Logistics/Facility Planner in the industry, ideally in the logistics or forwarding sector, or a consulting company
  • Several years of experience in project management, process optimization, and change management
  • Quick comprehension and structured approach to drive results
  • High degree of independence and initiative to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Willingness to travel to different locations to support business growth and improve operational efficiency
