Position Overview
Delivering the designated academic modules in alignment with the established curriculum.
Overseeing, administering, and evaluating all student assignments and examination papers for the assigned classes.

Offering consultation and mentorship to students.

Instructing students on study skills pertinent to their programs and exam preparation strategies.
Delivering, if needed, personalized instruction to individuals or small groups to boost academic performance and prepare for assessments.
Evaluating students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.Arranging tutoring appointments with students.
Monitoring student performance or assisting students in academic settings, such as classrooms, laboratories, or computing centers.
Structuring the tutoring environment to foster productivity and learning.
Engaging in training and development sessions to enhance tutoring practices or acquire new tutoring techniques.
Effectively communicating with students and demonstrating a passion for education.
Maintaining records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or academic performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.

Developing content, both written and recorded, as directed by the Chief Academic Officer.
Researching or recommending textbooks, software, equipment, or other educational materials to complement tutoring.
Communicating students' progress to them through written reports, in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and/or teleconferencing.
Identifying, developing, or implementing intervention strategies, tutoring plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Carrying out daily tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork related to teaching activities.
Providing feedback to students on their progress.
Actively promoting the institution.
Offering all students tutor support to enhance their assignments.
Participating in institutional activities as required by the Chief Academic Officer.
Your Profile
Requirements
Professional Competencies
Master's or bachelor's degree
Prior teaching experience in higher education at the university level
Proficient knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams
Scientific publications in a related field
Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
Knowledge of German is advantageous
Familiarity with Educational Platforms (i.e., Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
Working knowledge of scheduling software
Sound understanding of study regulations and rules
Personal Competencies
