Credit Risk Specialist

Uniper is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing front-to-end rating processes for customers and counterparties of the Uniper group.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain rating models and methodology for Uniper portfolio
- Analyze financial statements and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of corporates and financial institutions
- Perform regular and ad-hoc credit analysis and rating updates
- Keep abreast of market developments and assess their impact on the credit quality of counterparties
- Prepare rating documentation and presentations to internal stakeholders and management
- Education in business administration, economics, banking, or similar background
- Good knowledge of rating methodology best practices, risk models, credit scorecards
- Several years of experience in performing credit rating and in the analysis of financial statements, ideally in an energy trading firm/bank, as credit risk analyst
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards
- Structured, well-organized, and disciplined approach to work
- Good computer-based skills, proficient in Excel, or similar analytical tools
