We are currently seeking a Quality Management Engineer to enhance our team, specifically focusing on critical projects for our client, EUMETSAT.
EUMETSAT is a prominent international organization that operates meteorological satellites, crucial for monitoring and forecasting Earth's weather and climate. Their mission is to detect changes in weather patterns and climate, thereby assisting authorities in mitigating potential risks.
Role Responsibilities
As a Quality Management Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality assurance across high-stakes projects where standardization and reliability are paramount. Your contributions will significantly impact initiatives that benefit the global community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing expert quality assurance support for critical projects, ensuring adherence to established processes.
- Overseeing the implementation and effectiveness of Quality Management plans within engineering projects.
- Facilitating formal reviews and verification processes.
- Managing the resolution of system anomalies and documenting the processes involved.
- Contributing to risk management efforts and reviewing project documentation.
- Generating detailed metrics and reports, and developing new performance indicators as necessary.
- Ensuring the effective collaboration and acceptance of projects executed by external partners.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A university degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Process Assurance or Project Quality Assurance roles.
- Experience in software engineering or IT projects throughout their lifecycle, preferably within the space sector or complex engineering environments.
- Proficiency in defining, implementing, monitoring, and controlling QA processes.
- Familiarity with relevant QA or systems engineering standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ECSS).
- Experience in managing system anomalies and non-conformities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Quality Management audits or process evaluation (e.g., ISO 9001 auditor).
- Project management experience, particularly in risk management and formal reviews.
- Experience in defining and implementing KPIs, including data analysis and dashboard creation.
- Experience in international work environments.
