Position Overview

Safran Engineering Services is a global leader in high-technology solutions for the aviation, defense, and space sectors. Our mission is to enhance safety and sustainability in air travel through innovative and eco-friendly technologies. Within the CFM Support team in Airbus Hamburg, our technicians are responsible for executing maintenance operations to guarantee timely delivery of engines and aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and adhere to technical documentation
  • Conduct unplanned maintenance interventions
  • Follow established safety protocols
  • Document all maintenance activities
  • Engage in continuous improvement of products and services

Team Structure:

This role reports directly to the Mechanical and Logistical Operations Manager. Technicians will work in shifts and may be required to be on-call during weekends. Collaboration with fellow mechanics and team members is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engine operations
  • Prior experience in jet engine or aircraft production
  • Proficiency in technical English is essential
  • Knowledge of French or German is advantageous
  • Attributes: responsiveness, attention to detail, teamwork, availability, and adaptability

Internal Teams: Customer program managers, service teams, quality assurance, engineering, and Safran Engineering Services
