Exciting Career Opportunity at Schleich GmbH:

  • Oversee all procurement responsibilities throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch.
  • Ensure effective project timelines and resource allocation for all procurement activities from concept to start of production.
  • Collaborate with strategic purchasing to make informed supplier and manufacturer selection and award decisions.
  • Act as the primary contact for suppliers regarding all commercial issues.
  • Perform comprehensive cost, value, and market assessments.
  • Source new components while adhering to Schleich-specific standards (Quality, Cost, Timing).
  • Serve as an active liaison to all other departments within the project team.

Your Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Completed university degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project procurement, ideally within the consumer goods sector.
  • Proficient in SAP MM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exhibit an independent, organized, and dependable work ethic.
  • Possess strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a passion for teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
