Position Overview:

As a vital member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for the independent processing of laboratory specimens, assisting healthcare professionals in their diagnostic and treatment efforts. Your key duties will encompass:

• Receiving, logging, and distributing samples in the pre-analytical phase
• Preparing samples and documenting requirements within the laboratory information management system
• Maintaining, operating, and caring for analytical instruments
• Performing laboratory tests across various disciplines including Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation Diagnostics, and Immunohematology
• Providing consultation to sample submitters
• Executing quality control assessments and verifying the accuracy of data and materials
• Implementing quality management protocols

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should be a collaborative team player who can enhance our laboratory processes through a proactive and service-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A recognized and completed qualification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MTLA)
• Preferably some initial professional experience
• Proficient German language skills, both written and spoken
• A basic understanding of technical systems and IT
• A willingness to engage in shift work
