Founding Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer to lead our product efforts and shape the future of HonestDog.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small team and make a significant impact as a founding member. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, developing and iterating on design prototypes, and ensuring that all designs align with usability and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Development
- Lead the design of user-centered interfaces using Figma.
- Develop and refine design prototypes, wireframes, and user flows.
- Ensure that all designs meet usability and accessibility standards.
- User Experience & Testing
- Develop and implement user testing plans to gather feedback and insights.
- Analyze user feedback and website analytics to optimize the user experience.
- Use A/B testing to validate design concepts and implement improvements.
- Product Management
- Define and refine product value propositions, ensuring they align with user needs and business goals.
- Manage the product design lifecycle from concept through to implementation and iteration.
- Coordinate with developers, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure design cohesiveness and project timelines.
- Proficient in Figma and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, web standards, and accessibility guidelines.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience working in a small team and start-up environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Fluent in English and ideally German.
