As a Senior Engineer specializing in Airframe Design, you will play a pivotal role for our esteemed client in the aerospace sector, located in a region known for its innovation.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and guide intricate tasks both internally and externally; establish requirements, specifications, and assist with compliance measures.
- Integrate complex systems or airframe components, including coordinating test activities.
- Plan necessary actions and required competencies based on defined deliverables.
- Lead and manage resources within an airframe work package to ensure timely and quality deliverables, collaborating with engineering service suppliers.
- Guarantee structural integrity while optimizing weight and performance of airframe components, proposing enhancements for weight reduction and cost-effective design.
- Ensure and validate the correct implementation of test setups to secure valuable test outcomes according to specifications.
- Establish necessary verification procedures and progress tracking aligned with program processes to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Identify and promote opportunities for digitalization and automation in airframe design processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Degree in Engineering (MA Eng/Sc, Dr./PhD.) in materials, aeronautics/aviation, or mechanical engineering.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in relevant aircraft development and airframe design fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of airframe certification standards, design criteria, materials, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience in new aircraft development (CS25).
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in product development across various aircraft programs.
- Proven leadership and instructional capabilities for complex tasks, both internally and externally.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
