Senior Embedded Software Engineer – High Speed Connectivity

Optimus Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Munich, Germany or other locations in Germany and Switzerland. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – High Speed Connectivity, you will be responsible for developing embedded software and software at bare metal level in C and C++ for high-speed network connectivity products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing embedded real-time software in C and C++ for network connectivity systems
  • Working at SoC / Bare Metal level and having knowledge of high-speed communications bus/protocols (USB3, USB4, PCIe, DDR, SerDes etc.)
  • Supporting customer development programmes and developing, modifying and integrating new software modules on customer site
  • Collaborating with internal and customer development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience developing embedded real-time software in C and C++ for network connectivity systems
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed communications bus/protocols (USB3, USB4, PCIe, DDR, SerDes etc.)
  • Ability to work at SoC / Bare Metal level
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly
