Overview

We are seeking a skilled "Technologist PCA Manufacturing / Surface Mount Technology (m/f/d)" to enhance our PCA manufacturing technology team at our Ulm facility. The Production Technologies department is dedicated to the development, optimization, and qualification of production processes, providing essential technological support for HENSOLDT's manufacturing operations.

The PCA Manufacturing Technology team is focused on supporting our electronics assembly line, enhancing manufacturing processes, and defining the necessary equipment and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes within the SMD production line, including solder paste application, various soldering techniques (convection, selective, vapor phase), solder-free connection technologies, automated inspection processes, and cleaning procedures.
• Assist the production area in analyzing and evaluating deviations.
• Provide technological support for procurement in supplier management.
• Plan and execute investment projects related to electronics assembly.
• Consult with diverse stakeholders from development, technology, and production on manufacturing and material-related matters.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in electronics, micro systems technology, manufacturing technology, or a related field (Bachelor/Master, Dipl-Ing. or equivalent).
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in surface mount technology and PCA manufacturing.
• Several years of experience in a PCA manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel for business within Europe.
• Fluent in English and German at a negotiation level.
