Position Overview

Generali stands as a prominent player in the insurance sector within Germany. As a member of the global Generali Group, the company operates under various brands, including Generali, CosmosDirekt, and Dialog, covering life, health, and property/casualty insurance segments. Role Description

We are seeking a legal intern (m/f/d) to assist the Corporate Affairs division at our Cologne office. This role provides a unique chance to engage in a variety of legal responsibilities within the Legal division of Generali Deutschland AG, encompassing corporate law, capital markets, labor regulations, health insurance law, competition law, information technology law, antitrust regulations, as well as general insurance and supervisory law or civil law.

The responsibilities are diverse, engaging, and interdisciplinary:

  • Assist the Legal division with general and administrative tasks
  • Independently manage daily office responsibilities within a small team of students

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree and interested in a long-term internship (up to 20 hours per week)
  • Genuine interest in legal matters, prior experience is not mandatory
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Motivated, approachable, dependable, and accountable
  • Preferably possess some background in an administrative setting
