IFRS Compliance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to IFRS standards
• Refine, implement, and document current processes (including IFRS 9 and Hedge Accounting)
• Evaluate financial instruments, conduct sensitivity analyses, and assess methods for Purchase Price Allocations, IFRS 16 Leasing, and IFRS 15 Revenues
• Review and update the comprehensive Accounting Manual (available in both German and English) (Group Accounting Directive)
• Assist in the preparation of the management report and notes for the annual financial statements of the Nordzucker Group
• Oversee the interface with the annual report
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (both individual and consolidated)
• Facilitate group-wide training sessions
• Lead projects independently
• Engage with local finance teams and the Nordzucker Shared Service Center

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or a related field
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and HGB, preferably with experience in a respected auditing firm
• Exhibits audit proficiency and has experience collaborating with auditors
• Has successfully completed relevant projects in previous roles
• Is committed and highly driven
• Demonstrates strong communication abilities and excels in a team-oriented environment
• Is proficient in SAP (S4 Hana, Group Reporting)
• Possesses good command of the English language
