About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Prime Video team at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business in all aspects of commercial law, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including distribution, development, licensing, and production agreements.
  • Providing legal advice to the business on a range of matters, including intellectual property, new product initiatives, marketing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Working closely with the business to identify and mitigate legal risks, and to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including production companies, studios, device manufacturers, and other business partners.
  • Researching and advising on new product initiatives and regulatory matters that impact the business.

Our Prime Video Legal team is a dynamic and collaborative group of lawyers who are passionate about supporting the business in achieving its goals. We are a team of experienced lawyers who are committed to delivering high-quality legal advice and support to the business.

Requirements
  • Lawyer fully qualified in Germany with outstanding academic and legal qualifications.
  • Minimum 2+ years' post-qualification legal experience.
  • Transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
