DRK Soziale Dienste OWL gGmbH is a member of the Red Cross community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children, adolescents, and families, particularly those facing physical and psychosocial challenges, disabilities, illnesses, or social hardships.

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator/Special Needs Educator/Motor Skills Therapist (m/f/d) in Bielefeld.

This is a part-time role with the potential for additional hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing mobile early intervention and psychomotor therapy in preschool and primary school settings
  • Conducting assessments for developmental and support needs
  • Developing tailored support plans and progress reports
  • Offering counseling and support to parents
  • Collaborating with educational institutions, preschools, and funding agencies

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed training in early childhood education, special education, social pedagogy, rehabilitation pedagogy, motology, or a related educational field
  • Experience in psychomotor therapy and early intervention
  • Familiarity with systemic and solution-focused counseling is advantageous
  • Knowledge in special needs education and developmental assessments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Enjoyment and experience in working with children
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Proficient IT skills
