Art Gallery Client Coordinator

Artnet stands as the premier global platform for the online art market, facilitating the buying, selling, and research of art.
We connect a vast network of collectors with top-tier galleries and auction houses, aiming to enhance transparency in the art sector while empowering our partners to expand their online presence.
We are in search of a dedicated full-time gallery client coordinator to join our Galleries Team, with an option for flexible remote work.
This role is designed to cover a parental leave and offers the potential for extension.As a gallery client coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to nurture and develop client relationships by overseeing the gallery member sites integrated into our platform.
Your daily interactions with clients will be vital in keeping them engaged and ensuring their success within our ecosystem.
You will report directly to the Gallery Network Manager, collaborating closely as Artnet continues to lead in the evolving art industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance approximately 80-90 gallery member sites, primarily focusing on the German market.
- Cultivate relationships with clients to enrich their experience with Artnet and assist in their online business growth.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through friendly and effective product and technical support.
- Monitor significant client activities daily to retain existing clients and identify opportunities for new and existing clientele.
- Work alongside the Sales, Marketing, and Ad-Ops teams to coordinate advertising initiatives for gallery members.
- Report any site-related issues or bugs to the Research and Development Team.
- Update Artnet's artist database by adding or modifying artist information as necessary.
- Ensure optimal online image quality by editing artwork images to meet client specifications when required.
- Contribute ideas regularly to enhance our products and services.
- Attend client and art community events to strengthen relationships within the arts sector.
- Accept additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in art history, fine arts, or arts administration.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the art sector.
- Proficient in PC platforms, Microsoft Office, and social media.
- Basic understanding of HTML and image editing techniques.
- Professional and courteous communication skills via phone and email.
- Excellent command of both German (native preferred) and English.
- Additional foreign language skills are a plus.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.
- Capable of identifying potential risks and opportunities and escalating them promptly.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a positive, productive demeanor under pressure.
