About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team at ZEISS Group.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our sophisticated algorithms that evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner.

Our team relies on high computational performance and state-of-the-art algorithmic solutions to enable the performance of our complex photomask systems, which are essential for manufacturing defect-free microchips.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CI/CD process to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  • Design and implement a test strategy to ensure highest quality of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with algorithm developers, software architects, and HPC engineers to ensure alignment and quality of software solutions.
  • Work closely with application specialists to ensure customer requirements and specifications are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in scientific computing.

Your Ideal Profile

  • Intensive experience with practical software testing for high-performance computing and QA tools.
  • Excellent practical programming skills with scientific Python, C++/C#, parallel computing, CUDA.
  • University-level degree in physics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or similar.
  • Proven software architecture skills and FOSS contributions.
  • Good knowledge in image processing algorithms and machine learning.
  • Passion for high code quality and supportive team player.
