Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to enhance our innovative marketing technology SaaS platform, brainsuite. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coding, and maintaining microservices and APIs that power our platform. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will define, design, and implement new features while ensuring a robust and scalable infrastructure on AWS. Your expertise will also be crucial in maintaining the performance and security of our backend systems, as well as exploring and integrating new technologies to boost development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and sustain the backend of our SaaS application.
  • Utilize serverless architectures and cloud solutions, primarily on AWS.
  • Employ domain-driven design, test-driven development, and continuous integration methodologies to deliver high-quality code efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with our AI and Data Science teams to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies seamlessly.
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and serverless architecture.
  • Experience with continuous integration and test-driven development practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Ability to contribute effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and innovative problem solver with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German (minimum C1 level).
  • Valid work authorization for Germany.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of TypeScript and domain-driven design.
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or MLOps practices.
