Job Title: Demand Planner

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at 3C - Career Consulting Company GmbH.

About the Role:

The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain, predicting customer demand, and optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for our products, using statistical modeling and data analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and 3PL teams to gather relevant information and insights to support demand planning efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate historical sales data and conduct thorough analysis to understand demand patterns and seasonality.
  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and optimize costs and service level.
  • Generate regular reports and present findings to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role within the fresh products industry.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and demand forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to translate numbers and data into reliable insight.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using demand planning APS software and ERP systems.
