Residential Services Coordinator

Housing Administration Specialist Wiesbaden, Germany Application Eligibility

Eligible candidates include current internal Local National Employees across Germany, encompassing all Local National staff of the U.S. Forces in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housing Administration Specialist, you will oversee housing management at an Installation Management Command (IMCOM) facility or remote location. Your primary duties will include:

  • Direct management and administration of housing projects and facilities, ensuring compliance with housing management programs.
  • Providing support through the Housing Services Office (HSO), Unaccompanied Housing (UH), and other related initiatives.
  • Conducting housing referrals and offering relocation assistance to military personnel and their families.
  • Performing inspections of rental properties to assess their suitability and habitability.
  • Acting as a liaison with real estate agents and property managers, maintaining a registry for client reference.
  • Managing programs such as the Rental Partnership Program and Utility Deposit Waiver Program.
  • Compiling and analyzing data for reports on housing availability and customer service metrics.
  • Addressing and mediating rental disputes between landlords and tenants.
  • Assisting in the management of barracks and dormitories, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Overseeing the procurement and maintenance of furnishings for military housing.

Additional responsibilities may include conducting briefings and training sessions for various audiences, as well as initiating procurement actions for furnishings and equipment.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in clerical work, office management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in office automation and a valid driver's license (Class B).
  • Language proficiency in both English and German at a C1 level.
