Project Engineer for Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) - (m/f/d)
to enhance our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team.
The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, current information and services to our military clients, primarily the German Navy, encompassing the entire ILS spectrum. This includes LCC-RAMS analysis, maintenance data, spare parts information, and technical documentation for our Marine Electrical Systems portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support international projects related to Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS).
- Conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Lifecycle Costing (LCC), and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) assessments.
- Calculate LSA/ILS/LCC KPIs based on design documentation and validate against client specifications.
- Identify and optimize maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities to achieve defined ILS/LSA/LCC objectives.
- Manage, maintain, and update LSA databases.
- Gather information from various departments (Purchasing, Production, Design, etc.) and ensure data consistency.
- Assist the department manager in proposal development.
- Collaborate with industrial partners and subcontractors.
- Engage directly with clients (primarily shipyards) and military end-users.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience in ILS/LSA/RAMS, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Strong background in Integrated Logistics Support.
- Familiarity with ILS Standards, particularly the ASD Suite of specifications (S3000L / S4000P) or similar international standards (MIL-Std, etc.).
- Experience working on military projects and with military clients.
- Proficient in both German and English.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to engage in military business.
