Recreation Specialist

The Recreation Specialist in Arts and Crafts plays a vital role in enhancing the creative experiences of individuals and groups. This position is responsible for providing technical support and practical assistance in various arts and crafts activities.

The primary duties include:

• Offering guidance and demonstrations on the safe and effective use of both power and hand tools for crafts such as woodworking, leatherwork, jewelry making, enameling, and graphic arts.
• Expanding the program to include additional crafts as requested, such as model making, weaving, metalwork, ceramics, and other related activities.
• Delivering instructional blocks that cover various techniques for working with materials like wood, leather, metal, and clay, ensuring participants understand the correct methods for cutting and assembling.
• Reading and interpreting patterns, drawings, and blueprints to assist patrons in successfully completing their projects.
• Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for all participants.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a valid driver's license class B.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
• Proficiency in office automation tools is essential.
• Language proficiency in English (A2 level) and German (B2 level) is required.
