Schwarz IT is responsible for the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies within the Schwarz Group. This includes the selection, provision, operation, and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms, and business applications.
Your RoleAs a Mendix Software Developer, you will be part of an international team of developers responsible for development requests across various company parts of the Schwarz Group. You will work on making the combination of Mendix and our cloud provider, STACKIT, a success story.
Key Responsibilities- Requirement Analysis
- Collaborate with lead developers, business consultants, and stakeholders to gather and analyze detailed requirements and create technical solutions.
- Application Development
- Design, develop, and implement applications on the Mendix platform to meet business requirements and specifications.
- User Interface Design
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using our SCHWARZ theming modules.
- Integration
- Integrate Mendix applications with existing systems, databases, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Testing & Debugging
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free software delivery.
- Support & Maintenance
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, addressing any issues, and implementing improvements as needed.
- Qualification
- Proven experience as a professional Mendix developer or similar.
- Good collaboration and communication skills in English. German is a plus but not required.
- Experience with integrating applications with other systems and APIs.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work in an international, virtual team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred
- Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database systems like SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms.
- Mendix certification is a plus.
