Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Cloud Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient server-side applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and NestJS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Optimize backend performance, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, driving the backend architecture of our modern solutions.
- 4+ years of commercial experience in web development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript/TypeScript and NestJS.
- Experience with popular public cloud services, such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with relational databases and ORMs.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Independent individual focused on delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with Jest and other testing libraries.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP), Cloud Foundry, and K8S.
- Knowledge of OData and CI/CD pipelines setup.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Best Practices.
