Student Position in Communication for Automotive Innovation

Position Overview:
Join Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a leader in the automotive industry, as a working student in the field of communication. This role is integral to our Center of Competence for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (xR), where we focus on innovative methods and tools for vehicle development.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will facilitate communication across departments regarding the latest trends and developments in VR and AR technologies. Your contributions will help enhance internal knowledge sharing and collaboration.

  • Compose and publish articles in an editorial format on topics related to Automotive VR and AR.
  • Explore various departments utilizing VR and AR, and participate in both internal and external events, providing reports on your findings.
  • Create graphic presentations to effectively communicate various subjects.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in communications, media technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Strong skills in MS Office; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Demonstrated responsibility, integrity, and openness in communication.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively, with a structured and pragmatic approach.
  • Enjoyment in engaging with customers and a passion for editorial tasks; photography skills are advantageous.
  • Genuine interest in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies.
