Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager for high-voltage overhead lines. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 employees and overseeing the project from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management for construction, renovation, and maintenance work on high-voltage overhead lines up to 400 kV
  • Management of a team of 8-10 employees
  • Economical handling of projects within the project budget
  • Support with costing and tender preparation
  • Cost responsibility for the overall project as well as measurement and billing of the project
  • Selection and management of optimal assembly methods, subcontractor services, and scheduling of materials, tools, machines, and equipment in collaboration with the site management team
  • Responsibility for the quality and timely handover of services to the client
  • Preparation of project documentation and regular reporting to management

Requirements

  • Completed studies in the field of civil engineering
  • Successful professional experience in the project business in the construction sector, ideally in overhead line construction
  • Sound knowledge of VOB and BGB contract law and practical application experience
  • Sense of responsibility and proactive way of working
  • High willingness to travel in Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, and Bavaria and class B driving license
  • Clear and open communication skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
  • Good knowledge of project management software and MS Office
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills are required
