Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations in Essen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
• Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production
• Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize costs and minimize waste
• Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and materials
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze kitchen performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Culinary Operations Manager in a similar industry
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
