About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Clinical Affairs to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our clinical strategy and ensuring that our products and solutions meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership on key clinical topics to support strategy development and execution.
  • Build and lead a team of clinical affairs professionals to develop and implement clinical strategies that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
  • Ensure that our products and solutions are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical trials and studies that support our business objectives.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to our sales and marketing teams to ensure that our products and solutions are effectively communicated to customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and trends, and apply this knowledge to inform our clinical strategies and product development.
Requirements
  • PhD or Medical Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical/clinical affairs within the medical device/biotech industry.
  • 8+ years of experience leading people through transformation and change management.
  • Deep knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data for the business.
  • Proven ability to manage talent with focus on talent development to ensure succession planning with strong scientific thinking embedded in the team.
  • Deep knowledge of clinical trial design and execution, data interpretation, etc. ideally partially with non-therapeutic devices.
