After-Sales Technical Leader

POSITION OVERVIEW

BASF Stationary Energy Storage GmbH (BSES) specializes in the distribution and development of NAS battery technology in collaboration with NGK Insulators Ltd.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role involves establishing and enhancing the After-Sales division for our NAS battery offerings.

  • You will create a worldwide network of technical service affiliates to provide field maintenance for NAS, including overseeing contract management.
  • Additionally, you will organize and manage spare parts logistics and the creation of a dedicated service center. As the main liaison for customer inquiries, you will address all facets of after-sales communication, including managing complaints and warranty issues.
  • You will also supervise the execution of Long Term Service Agreements.
  • To facilitate effective project execution and maintenance requirements, you will deploy an after-sales management system for tracking and oversight.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably in electrical engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in After Sales Management
  • A solid technical background, with experience in the battery sector being advantageous
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on solutions and customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with additional European languages being beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally
