Job Overview

As a key player in the Asset Management division, you will be responsible for the thorough evaluation and endorsement of financial data and operational processes within the Portfolio Management Team. Your role is crucial in ensuring precise accounting information and prompt reporting for a variety of assets in a cashflow-rich environment. The ideal candidate is meticulous, exceptionally organized, and possesses a strong background in asset management, with the ability to handle intricate data, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial strategies effectively.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Validate financial information from diverse cashflow sources.
  • Guarantee the integrity and precision of data compiled and organized by accounting and collection teams within ERP financial systems and databases.
  • Review financial reports in accordance with German GAAP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Oversee and manage loans, ensuring compliance with all covenants, payments, and reporting to lenders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with loan agreements and proactively identify potential risks.
  • Communicate financial outcomes and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and uphold internal controls to protect assets, ensuring the reliability of financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify and mitigate financial risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally with a focus on cashflow-intensive asset management sectors (such as real estate or infrastructure).
  • Proficient knowledge of financial reporting based on German GAAP and relevant regulations.
  • Experience in managing complex financial data, loans, and covenants.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex financial data.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying intricate financial information to a diverse audience.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
