Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to spearhead the design and development of advanced container-based platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and a passion for innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing customer container-based systems to determine future platform needs.
- Engage in requirement engineering, architecture, and interface design for various platform components and their interactions.
- Identify and address gaps in AOSP code and platform specifications, contributing to design and development efforts.
- Oversee system design and integration utilizing a Hypervisor-based methodology.
- Evaluate and potentially port solutions across diverse SoC hardware.
- Create proof of concepts and sample code to validate theoretical frameworks.
- Implement immediate solutions to alleviate bottlenecks, ensuring seamless operations for development teams.
- Design comprehensive verification and validation processes for platform components, including multi-stack and ECU interaction scenarios.
- Develop scripts using m-script and Python.
- Conduct MIL and SIL testing alongside code generation.
- Possess a foundational understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
- Develop Jenkins scripting pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to process compliance and configuration management standards.
- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and actively participate in client discussions.
- Integrate software features while providing technical support and guidance across all software initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Active involvement in at least one production program.
- Extensive knowledge of Android systems, architecture, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Android HAL, services, application development, and the Android build system.
- Experience with Linux-based embedded systems, including BSP and Linux internals.
- Understanding of containerization and hypervisor technologies.
- Proficient in C++ (versions 11, 14), UML, Java, and design modeling tools.
- Knowledge of infrastructure modules such as lifecycle management, persistence, and calibration.
- Understanding of CAN communication and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with IPC and communication protocols including D-BUS, MOST, EAVB, and SOME/IP.
- Exposure to all phases of the SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- (Optional) Familiarity with the AUTOSAR stack.
