About the Role

Fresenius Medical Care, a global leader in renal therapies, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Stolberg plant. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our medical device production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in medical device manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless product transfers and process validations.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for process-related issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to meet regulatory compliance standards and guidelines (ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and validation protocols.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as an engineer in the healthcare sector, with a focus on medical device manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, process optimization, lean manufacturing methodologies, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
