Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Optical System Design Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing customized optical sensors for 2D & 3D AOI applications in semiconductor shopfloor.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customized optical sensors for 2D & 3D AOI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process targets related to scanning speed & precision measurement are met.
  • Specify subsystems and drive test & evaluation tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Build prototypes in lab and validate performance to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Physics, Optical Engineering or similar field.
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in development of advanced sensors and/or optical systems.
  • Deep knowledge of Optical Sensor Technologies, including Triangulation, Whitelight Chromatography, Morie, and Interferometry.
  • Advanced skills in optical simulation (i.e. Zeemax), CAD Design SW (i.e. Solid Works), and multi-physics simulation (i.e. COMSOL).
