Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Logistics Specialist at our Augsburg office, Landverkehr department, with a base in Gersthofen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods from trucks or transfer bridges using electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods from trucks or transfer bridges in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods around the warehouse
- Ensure accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of goods
- Participate in the implementation of our quality, environmental, and safety standards
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the warehouse
Requirements:
- Completed training as a logistics specialist or equivalent experience in a warehouse environment
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in a 3-shift operation
