Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team in the planning and development of intelligent technologies for the automotive sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing steering system concept proposals, function development, performance matching, and calibration strategies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage steering system concept proposals, function development, performance matching, and calibration strategies.
  • Develop and manage steering by wire technical insight, concept analysis, function definition, system development, hardware development, controller algorithm modeling, software development, function integration, and testing.
  • Manage steering system development procedures, tools, and software review.
  • Effectively solve steering system engineering issues to ensure qualified deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in automotive, mechanical, or automation engineering.
  • Experience in steering system development, with deep knowledge of the development process, requirement analysis, performance matching, steering gear, steering column, hardware development, controlling strategy, controlling algorithm, software development, and steering by wire experience with controlling algorithm and software development.
  • Well-known steering system regulations, standards, function safety, and system integration with VCU and autonomous driving systems.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, with German and/or Chinese language knowledge an advantage.
  • Driving license mandatory, with proving ground calibration competence a plus.
