Applications Engineer for Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies (m/f/d)Location: Flexible
Key Responsibilities- Integrate systems within the realm of electrical engineering and next-generation automated driving solutions.
- Collaborate on the definition of validation assessments and execute testing in vehicles or controlled environments for the approval of safety-critical functionalities.
- Oversee the preparation and assessment of prototypes and technology demonstrators, ensuring comprehensive operational integrity.
- Design and implement driving evaluations with diverse configurations for internal development and client review, along with thorough documentation.
- Formulate application methodologies and manage application workflows.
- Assist in acquisition initiatives, client interactions, and promotional activities such as exhibitions.
- Degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training complemented by relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with vehicle driver assistance technologies and understanding of sensor systems (Radar, Video, Ultrasonic).
- Hands-on experience with development platforms such as Vector Toolchain, ADTF, dSPACE, etc.
- Proficiency in development tools like DOORS or programming expertise.
- Ability to work independently, with strong analytical skills and a methodical approach.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, willing to travel, with excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
