We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Mortgage Specialist to join our team at Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg. As a key member of our housing finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers in achieving their homeownership goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on mortgage options and government incentives for self-occupied housing in the state of Brandenburg.
- Develop and present customized financing proposals, including state and federal funding, ILB mortgage loans, and other financial products.
- Independently process mortgage applications from initial income assessment and credit analysis to loan approval.
- Prepare and review loan agreements, ensuring compliance with consumer protection regulations, and verify payment conditions and usage reports.
- Regularly review and update mortgage portfolios, including interest rate adjustments, income verifications, and affordability assessments, as well as handle special cases and exceptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer-focused approach, combined with a high level of quality and responsibility, and strong planning and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility, with experience in mortgage lending, preferably in the field of residential finance.
- Completed banking education, with additional qualifications, such as a banking diploma or a degree in economics.
