Senior Backend Engineer for Cloud Commerce Platform

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at STACKIT. As a key member of our Commerce Platform domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating our cloud-based commerce platform.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement scalable and secure backend systems for our commerce platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
- Strong experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, or Rust
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Helm
- Knowledge of database systems, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
