HSE Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to join our team at McBride, a leading manufacturer of private label household and professional cleaning/hygiene products. As an HSE Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving and continuously improving our HSE Management System at the site.

• Support the HSE Manager in driving and continuously improving the HSE Management System at the site.
• Proactively support the site team to operate in compliance with the HSE Management System across functional areas.
• Assist in developing the site's health, safety, and environmental improvement plans in compliance with company HSE policies, standards, objectives, and local legislative requirements.
• Coach employees on the HSE Management System and support the site in building the organizational capability to achieve strategic goals of the business with respect to Health, Safety, and Environment.

• Relevant local HSE qualification.
• NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety or working towards.
• Externally recognized environmental qualification, such as IEMA Level 5 Certificate in Environmental Management.
• Project management principles and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Good knowledge of local language and English.
• MS Office and communication tools.
