IT Engineer

Job Description:

At PepsiCo, we are looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join our team in Nieder-Roden (Rodgau). As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our site operations technology (OT), providing IT infrastructure assets, and controlling system applications to ensure a reliable and secure platform for production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage specifications for hardware, software, and network infrastructure of control systems (OT). Ensure compliance with all OT cyber security standards.
• Implement change management processes to improve technical productivity in control systems and OT.
• Provide technical leadership and governance for the implementation of critical site projects.
• Define CAPEX and OPEX requirements (AOP and ACP) to improve C&IS.
• Plan system improvements and updates.
• Support and maintain critical systems.

Requirements:

• Experience with PLC and SCADA systems.
• Basic knowledge of networks, servers, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems.
• Proven experience in IT system project management.
• Documentation, communication, and moderation skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical problems and solutions to a non-technical audience.
