We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Travel Consultant:in to join our team at DB Vertrieb GmbH in Bayreuth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support in our travel center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and sales support to customers on all DB travel products and services.
• Conduct professional and standardized customer consultations to meet customer needs.
• Actively promote and sell additional travel services and products to customers.
• Process customer refunds and provide assistance with travel-related inquiries.
• Receive and respond to customer feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Proactively engage with customers to promote the use of digital travel apps and ticketing machines.

Requirements:

• A completed apprenticeship as a Sales Associate or a comparable sales-related qualification with relevant work experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent knowledge of transportation geography and DB route maps.
• High affinity for new sales channels such as smartphones, tablets, and the internet.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution and customer complaint management to provide solutions to customers.
• Good English language skills, with additional foreign languages an asset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
