KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver tax guidance for organizations in both domestic and international tax legislation.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial reports in accordance with national and international accounting principles.
  • Calculate current and deferred tax liabilities in compliance with IFRS and HGB for consolidated and standalone financial statements.
  • Facilitate tax reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Engage with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Provide counsel to various departments on tax-related matters and enhancements to processes.
  • Participate in tax audits and initiatives for optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and guidelines through regular updates and monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements utilizing Income Tax Tools.
  • Draft opinions on tax issues and assist in audits and appeals.
  • Engage in diverse activities related to tax structuring and international tax regulations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree in business or law with a specialization in tax law, or a comparable qualification.
  • Prior practical experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office and DATEV software.
  • Demonstrated reliability and commitment to excellence.
