Import Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Specialist to join our team at DIS AG. As an Import Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the importation of goods, managing customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Coordinate the importation of goods, including arranging transportation and customs clearance
• Manage customs clearance processes, including preparing and submitting necessary documents
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs laws and trade agreements
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth importation processes
• Monitor and report on importation activities, including tracking shipments and resolving any issues that may arise

• Relevant education and experience in international trade, logistics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of customs laws and regulations, as well as trade agreements and tariffs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
