We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong digital affinity for a project assignment focused on the strategic and global development of an in-car platform for Mercedes-Benz digital services.
We prioritize digital transformation and foster an environment conducive to creativity and innovation, characterized by an agile and start-up-like atmosphere. Within the Mercedes me Business Development In-Car Platform department, we integrate marketing, sales, and IT to create digital products that enhance the customer journey and contribute significantly to our digital sales objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a thesis as part of a global strategy project for innovative digital services in Mercedes-Benz vehicles (topic can be tailored).
- Manage sub-projects with defined parameters and drive them from inception.
- Assist in the design and development of digital services based on customer insights and analytics.
- Prepare and enhance "pitch" presentations for engaging external partner companies.
- Conduct continuous benchmarking and market research, as well as design and implement customer studies related to digital services in vehicles.
- Support the team in organizing and following up on management meetings and workshops.
The final thesis topic will be established in collaboration with your university and our team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, innovation management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Atlassian software such as JIRA and Confluence is advantageous.
- Experience in digital ecosystems, requirements management, and bridging business and IT is a plus.
- Interest and prior experience in digital services and business models (e.g., e-marketplace, platforms, apps, data business, software development).
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong written and spoken skills in both German and English.
- Demonstrated commitment, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
