Project Overview:

K-tronik GmbH is seeking a skilled Digital Workplace Software Packager (f/m/d) to enhance our operations in the aviation industry. This is a permanent role aimed at improving our software deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation and Development: Design and develop software packages utilizing MSI, PowerShell Deployment Toolkit (PDT), MSIX, and setup routines to streamline the packaging process.
  • Application Integration: Integrate complex applications within Windows installations effectively.
  • Consultation and Management: Provide management and consulting services regarding software packaging architecture.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and automate packaging processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Documentation: Document software packages and workflows using RayFlow and Confluence.
  • Package Distribution: Ensure smooth distribution of packages through SCCM, Tanium, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside external service providers to ensure accurate software package delivery.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software packaging within international environments, specifically with over 2000 Windows 10/11 clients.
  • Strong understanding of software management and packaging principles with proven expertise.
  • At least 2 years of experience using PowerShell Deployment Toolkit.
  • Familiarity with SCCM/Tanium and Microsoft Intune.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to derive effective solutions.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience collaborating with external software packaging services.
  • Knowledge in optimizing operational processes (ITIL Foundation/Intermediate or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Jira & Confluence.
  • Interest in exploring new and emerging IT technologies.
