Position Overview
Publicis Media Germany is on the lookout for a seasoned Product Manager with a concentration on foundations. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our central software product suite from end to end. As part of an international team, you will significantly impact our organization across various levels, focusing on data, visualization, and workflow applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement the product strategy and roadmap, fostering innovation and aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the company.
- Collaborate with the Director of Product within the technology organization and engage with agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based software products.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, comprehending their needs and executing the product roadmap to deliver business value.
- Utilize a continuous discovery approach to grasp user requirements, integrating feedback into product development to enhance satisfaction and maximize impact.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, establishing clear expectations regarding timelines and feasibility, ensuring reliable delivery from your team.
- Foster trust with engineering, data, and UX teams by ensuring alignment between built solutions and business values while allowing for research, refactoring, security, scalability, and automation.
- Engage hands-on in product and feature development, ensuring rapid learning and alignment with business and customer needs.
- Define critical business objectives, KPIs, and success metrics, tracking and improving them continuously.
- Analyze product metrics and performance regularly, driving enhancements based on both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Effectively navigate an agile environment, managing the product lifecycle and maintaining a clear, concise product roadmap.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive dynamics to shape product strategy and anticipate customer needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager with a proven history of successfully launching and scaling software products from inception to completion, preferably in the advertising or media sector.
- Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders.
- Prior experience as a platform product manager or in managing complex technical products.
- Proficient in conducting product discovery sessions with users.
- Familiarity with SCRUM and agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships in a hybrid work environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting trends and translating them into actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic mindset grounded in practicality - 'Live in the future, then build what's missing' (P. Graham).
- Ideally, over 1 year of experience with OKRs.
- Relevant professional experience as a software developer, ideally holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in English (minimum C1) and German (minimum B2).
