DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at SAP Sovereign Cloud. As a key member of our Product Enablement team, you will play a vital role in automating, scaling, and maintaining our cloud operations at an exceptional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and managing deployment environments for new SAP products in the SAP Sovereign Cloud portfolio.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Support the automation of build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure consistency and version control of configuration files and deployment scripts.
- Implement monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Support performance tuning and optimization efforts for SAP products.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support the integration and deployment of SAP products.
- Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in DevOps.
- Strong expertise in DevOps and experience with Python, Go, and/or Bash.
- Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
