MTM / REFA Time Optimization Engineer (m/w/d)

Position Overview: Bishop GmbH is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of MTM / REFA Time Engineer, specializing in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform time assessments to determine accurate time metrics.
  • Develop analytical models that account for setup durations, production volumes, and task intricacies.
  • Evaluate and enhance manufacturing and logistics workflows.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to uncover potential cost-saving measures.
  • Establish process-related tools and effectively communicate findings with pertinent departments.
  • Design and execute operational and administrative strategies aimed at improving productivity and reducing expenses.
  • Create standardized work documentation.
  • Identify and manage external service providers.
  • Facilitate training on Lean principles and Change Management methodologies during projects and workshops.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a focus on results.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficient in numerical analysis and technical comprehension, with a knack for analytical reasoning.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Professional Experience:

  • At least three years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven experience in conducting time studies utilizing MTM or REFA methodologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications.

Knowledge Base:

  • Fundamental understanding of Change Management and Lean Management principles.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.

Certifications:

  • Completed technical training and certification as an Industrial Engineer in MTM or REFA.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in production planning.
  • Familiarity with operational processes and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with time tracking software such as ORTIM or TiCon.
